The Prayer Shawl Ministry began in May 2006 and has wrapped God’s love and over 900 people in prayer through handmade shawls. Each shawl is lovingly crafted and later blessed at the altar, then set aside for someone in need of God’s comfort, healing, or encouragement.

We meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 9:30 AM for a time of prayer, fellowship, and creating shawls together. (Please note: we do not meet in June, July, August, or December.)

Leftover yarn is used to make baby blankets for newborns in our church family and for the Sanilac County Baby Pantry, extending this ministry’s reach even further.

If you knit or crochet—or would like to learn—we would love to have you join us.
